Day 15

I am back on the horse. Today I had to do another Fit Test. I did better than I thought I would. My goal was to at least do one better than the first Fit Test that I did. Here is the run down:

Switch Kicks: 32 (7 more)
Power Jacks: 25 (3 more)
Power Knee: 35 (3 more)
Power Jump: 16 (1 more)
Globe Jump: 3 (1 more)
Suicide Jumps: 6 (1 more)
Push-up Jacks: 10 (5 more)
Low Plank Obliques: 13 (3 more)

I at least met my goal if not doing more. And the good news is that I did not throw up after this Fit Test. That must mean that I am getting better at this!! Yippee!!!!

Also, kick me now, although I did not workout the full week, I still managed to lose one pound. Imagine if I would have done the full week. Kick, kick, kick. I am now down to 183. Another 23 pounds to go before I am at my goal weight.

I am bad

Needless to say, last week was crazy and I skipped four days! Slap me now!

Day 9

All day I thought today was going to be the light day of only Yoga in the exercise program. Imagine how heart broken I was when I realized it was the toughest day, Pure Cardio. Yuck! I can barely move and it took me a full 30 mins post workout to get my heart rate back to normal. But it is finally there and I survived to live another day!

Day 8

I was hoping to have lost a little more weight this week. But I have to say that any weight is a good amount to loss. Drum role please....... I lost 3 pounds!!! That brings my weight down to 184!!

Good for me. For once I am seeing the scales go down not up. Although, I have only gained 20 pounds since High School, so I am not too worried about that. Now if I can just keep the momentum going to continue this program.

I can already tell that I am going to be sore tomorrow. I can feel it in my quads and abs! Burn baby burn!!!!!

Day 7

PURE BLISS!

Day 6

My last day before my full recovery day. I have started the week over again, minus the fit test. I now know the exercises that we are expected to do. I am hoping to start getting a few more reps in each time and to be able to go a little longer.

It is funny how you start to get use to the soreness all day. As if it is suppose to be there.

Day 5

Today was not too bad at work. I actually did not feel horrible and I could move around. So maybe yesterday was good for me after all!

I think tonight's workout was the toughest yet. It was Pure Cardio. In the normal workouts they build stops in. But not in this workout. I am trying to push myself as hard as I can in order to get though them. For those of you who know me, you know how hard it is for me to workout.

Keep wishing me luck.

I decided to get a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie, minus the sugar, plus the protein and a vitamin pack. I think this is pretty close to what is in the recovery formula. It for sure taste a lot better.

Day 4

I was only kidding myself when I thought that Cardio Recovery would be easier. I sweated more today than I have any other day. It is really that hard. But I didn't throw up and I didn't pass out. Those are both a step in the right direction. I did lay down on the couch ofter the workout and I guess my back froze up. When I got up to move I barely rotated my spine and it cracked in about 20 places. Don't know if that is good or not, but it sure made it feel a lot better.

Two more days before I have a day off.

I am suppose to be drinking a 'Recovery' Drink with each of the workouts. But the drinks that come with the program are horrible. I am going to have to find a protein and vitamin drink that has a decent flavor to them.

I wonder where I will be able to get those....

Day 3

If I thought I was tired and sore yesterday at work, you should have seen me today. I was literally hobbling around the OR. I just hope this pays off. But I figure that any little bit that I do has to be better than doing nothing. Right?

Tomorrow should be a better day for the workout. It is a Cardio Recovery day. Which I believe means basic yoga to help work on flexibility.

I am hoping that someday I will be able to actually do more than a minute at a time of the workout before I have to take a break. When I take a break I have to wait for about a minute and a half before I am recovered enough to actually breathe again.

I am looking at it this way, one breathe at a time. One rep at a time.

Day 2

Man am I tired. These workouts are killer. Today at work I could barely walk and then I had to turn around and do another full workout. Is it ever going to end. According to the schedule I have 59 more days until my 'New Body'. We shall see.

Today was the first full day of the workout. Yesterday was just a test to see how Fit I am. And let me say. I am not very. Here is the score from yesterday.

Switch Kicks - 25
Power Jacks - 22
Power Knee - 32
Power Jump - 15
Globe Jump - 2
Suicide Jumps - 5
Push-up Jacks - 5
Low Plank Obliques - 10

I will take the test again in 2 weeks. My goal is to at least do one better than each of the scores above. If I can do that then I am improving.

I also weight yesterday in at a whopping 187. One week then I will weigh again. I literally passed out after Day 2 workout and didn't wake up until my mom came in. It is okay though because Zeke passed out with me on the couch. I am sure we looked like two peas in a pod.

Insanity

I have decided to start a new workout program and finally loss the 25 pounds that I have gained since graduating high school. Although I guess 25 pounds in 10 years is not bad. Has it really been almost ton years? Yikes!!!!

Anyway, the name of the program is Insanity. On of my coworkers started it about a month ago and is loving it. However, she is in a lot better shape than I am. I just hope I survive it everyday!

I think I read somewhere on one of the reviews, that if you did not throw up after the workouts, you were not doing it correctly. Well, then I must have been doing a superb job. After about five minutes of projectile vomiting, I finally had nothing left in my stomach. Hopefully tomorrow will go better.

I plan on taking pictures every week and then posting them on here. However, I will not post them until after I get back from Ohio in June. That way it can be a surprise to the fam.

Like I said, I am hoping just to survive each of the workout!
